You’re consuming porn daily and you don’t even know it. It’s just not worth being addicted anymore. It is evidently clear that porn ruins lives and you don't need to be a porn star on viagra to witness its effects.
I
would love to define porn in this case as an addictive habit. Yes, porn is what
I call addictive habits. Do you know why I do so? It is because porn habits
starts off as a small thing and end up curtailing out of control if you let
them.
Individuals
start with soft core porn at a young age and within no time, they are consuming
hardcore porn like no one’s business-funny bit is part of that hard core porn
is full of whips and people handcuffed to the walls of torture rooms.
Now,
porn is all around you and it may take a long time before you see its
devastating effects. Thankfully, once you do, you can throw it out of your life
and turn a new leaf. Anyway why would you do that?
Your life is
on porn
You
wake up. You go to the toilet and relieve yourself. Your day starts out well.
You have many goals you want to achieve and your to-do list is ready and
waiting for you. “Just one sec,” you say to yourself. Then, porn enters the
bathroom while your undies are wrapped around your legs.
1.
Lifestyle Porn
No
one can skip this category, what apps do you love most? In the morning, you whimp your phone and
open one if not two three or even 10 apps. What do you see when you do that? A lot
of consumer-focused ads with a taste of how your life could get better.
They make you see an alternative life that you could be living if you weren't living this 9-5 nightmare you call a life. At some point I know you trust it-don't you? "I am so stupid" you think to yourself. How do I escape all this? That is the question that lingers in most of our heads.
What
makes it difficult is because you never see what it takes to earn that
lifestyle, you are blind enough to only see the end result which is the
lifestyle itself. It is frustrating but
hold on, there is always a way out.
Accept that your lifestyle is never going to be the same with everybody else.
That’s the point! Create your own lifestyle. Don't copy a porn version you’ll
never have.
2.
Money Porn
"How
to make money online using your phone during lockdown. just a few tips for
someone today" I know you have seen this message many times especially
during this lockdown.
Laptop.
Laptop. Laptop. It makes you think making money is easy. Do you all agree that
if making money was so gosh damn simple, we’d all be rolling in it and nobody
would ever need to wake up early for work again.
What
money porn sells is a very weird dream that cash will solve all your problems.
Trust me it won't. Money is a porn lie. The notion that if you had money, then
you'd have happiness is far-fetched. All you need is meaning. Without meaning
and fulfillment, money won't move any mountains for you. Instead it can make your
life even worse, not better.
Nobody
has to lose for you to win and that’s the problem with money porn.
3.
Startup Porn
I
started my startup 2 years ago and it has grown to great heights. I am
contented and am pushing it harder and harder. When I was starting I shared
with some of my close "community members"-I remember one who is very
close told me how hard it would be and all the cons, he never mentioned one pro
at all.
Many will tell you all you need is a business and you'll be successful. Truth be told, last year alone 9/10 startups failed in the first year. If yours managed to stay afloat-you are making it. Keep pushing. This means startup porn is statistically designed to ruin your life.
Everything
is hard work, ignore easing your way into business or any career. Whoever tells
you to walk away from everything and start a business may be lying to you.
That's stupid advice. Are you ready for all the hard work a personal business
needs?
Do
you know (If you’ve got a regular job, then you’re already an entrepreneur with
one customer anyway.)
You
can be happy without a startup, take it in and let it sink.
4.
Revenge porn
What
makes this porn real is social media. Do you really have to sabotage other
people in the comment’s section of their posts or in the hidden chamber of secrets
known as direct messages.
I
know to some seeking revenge feels good. Seeing people lose, so you can, win
seems obvious. Trust me the need to only win leads to lots of disappointments.
Crush
revenge porn by helping other people get better. Don't pull anyone down even if
that is your hobby. When you eradicate the idea of winners and losers from your
life, you welcome the gift of opportunity through the door of your mind.
You
can do more when you collaborate than you can by yourself. Try it and see.
5.
Influencer Porn
Having a brand and a lot of followers makes many think they are incredibly well but that is not it. A personal brand is not everything.
"People
who consume our content are a community and it is right to serve them and not
our ambitions."
Nobody
gives a damn about how many followers you have or your brand. Use social media,
absolutely — but use it to be helpful and for a cause greater than your own
selfish desires.
Influencer
porn is designed to sell you products, not make you successful in life. You
don’t need any of it.
6.
People “Doing It” Porn
Lastly, the bar you have for physical looks and crazy sexual acts will only increase. Drop porn for real-life sex with your partner. It’s much better.
Whatever
your version of porn is, abolish it.
